A website that fits your business

Most websites start life as an off-the-shelf theme with your business pushed into it. That works until you want something the theme cannot do, and then things start to slip. I work the other way around: first we look at what you need, and only then do I build.

The result is a site that loads fast, reads just as well on a phone as on a desktop, and that you can update yourself if you want to.

What you get

What a project like this includes

  • A design that is yours alone

Not a theme with a different logo on it. Colours, typography and structure all follow from what you do and who you do it for.

  • Fast on every screen

Images are optimised and the code stays light. Even on a phone with half a bar of signal, your site is simply there.

  • Easy to find on Google

Proper titles, descriptions, a sitemap and a structure search engines understand. Built in from the start, not bolted on afterwards.

  • Forms that actually arrive

A contact or quote form that lands in your inbox, with a confirmation for the visitor.

  • Yours to update

If you want to change text, photos or prices yourself, I set up a simple admin screen for exactly that.

  • A walkthrough at handover

I go through the site with you and explain how everything works. After that you can always come back to me.

Approach

How it works

  1. 1

We work out what you need

What do you do, who for, and what should the site deliver? That conversation turns into a plan with a price and a timeline.

  2. 2

    Design

You see what the site will look like before a single line of code is written. Only once you are happy does it go into build.

  3. 3

    Build and check

I build the site, fill it with your text and photos and test it on phone, tablet and laptop.

  4. 4

    Launch and fine-tune

I put the site live, measure how it performs and sharpen it where I can. Small changes afterwards are never a problem.

Questions

What people usually ask first

What does a website cost?

That depends on how many pages there are and what the site has to do. A well-made brochure site sits lower than one with bookings and payments. You get a fixed price before we start, not an hourly bill afterwards.

How long does it take?

That depends on the site. A brochure site is usually live in about a week, one with bookings or payments takes longer. At the start you get a timeline with the dates in it.

What if I already have a website?

Then we first look at whether rebuilding is worth it. Sometimes it is enough to make the existing site faster and easier to find. I will tell you honestly if that is the case.

Wondering what this would cost you?

Tell me briefly what you have in mind. You will hear how I would approach it, how long it takes and roughly what it costs, with no strings attached.
